Contaminant Exposure and Effects-Terrestrial Vertebrates database (CEE-TV)

The Contaminant Exposure and Effects-Terrestrial Vertebrates database (CEE-TV) contains contaminant exposure and effects information for terrestrial vertebrates (birds, mammals, amphibians and reptiles) that reside in estuarine and coastal habitats along the Atlantic, Gulf and Pacific Coasts including Alaska and Hawaii and in the Great Lakes Region.

iPlover

iPlover was developed by the U.S. Geological Survey Woods Hole Coastal and Marine Science Center and the USGS Center for Integrated Data Analytics.  It is used by trained and vetted personnel to record information about habitats on coastal beaches and he environment surrounding them.

Software to Process and Preserve Legacy Magnetotelluric Data

The USGS Crustal Geophysics and Geochemistry Science Center (CGGSC) collaborated with the USGS Data at Risk (DaR) team to preserve and release a subset of magnetotelluric data from the San Andreas Fault in Parkfield, California. The San Andreas Fault data were collected by the Branch of Geophysics, a precursor to the now CGGSC, between 1989 and 1994. The magnetotelluric data selected for this pres

Wellfootprint - A Map App for Visualizing Groundwater Withdrawals

Wellfootprint computes a raster map of groundwater withdrawals relative to a user-defined "Depth-Rate Index" (DRI), such as a recharge rate. Dividing each well's withdrawal rate by the length per time DRI yields an area for display for each well's 'footprint' as a circle around each well. Symbols for closely spaced wells are merged to visualize the combined withdrawals eq

VS2DI Version 1.3

VS2DI is a graphical software package for simulating fluid flow and solute or energy transport in variably saturated porous media.

Software Release: Volume-Weighted Particle-Tracking Method for Solute-Transport Modeling: Implementation in MF2K-GWT

The Ground-Water Transport (GWT) Process for MODFLOW-2000 (mf2k) provides the capability to simulate three-dimensional solute transport. The GWT Process is based on the previously documented MOC3D model, which was integrated with MODFLOW-96. This data release includes compiled versions of the software, source code, documentation, and the input and output for several test cases.

Water, Energy, and Biogeochemical Model (WEBMOD)

The Water, Energy, and Biogeochemical Model (WEBMOD) uses the framework of the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Modular Modeling System (MMS) to simulate fluxes of water and solutes through watersheds. WEBMOD divides watersheds into model response units (MRU) where fluxes and reactions are simulated for several hillslope reservoir types.

Groundwater Transport Process (GWT)

Groundwater Transport Process (GWT) is a three-dimensional ground-water flow and solute-transport model integrated with MODFLOW-2000.

MoisturEC

MoisturEC is an R-based GUI used to combine electrical conductivity (EC) data with point moisture measurements for an updated moisture estimate capitalizing on the accuracy of point moisture measurements and the spatial coverage of EC data.

Software release: ModelArchiver and FgdcMetaEditor

ModelArchiver is a program for creating groundwater model archives that meet USGS policy requirements. FgdcMetaEditor is a program for editing metadata for geographic information in the form specified the by Federal Geographic Data Committee. This software release contains compiled versions of both programs along with source code and example data.
