Alaska Mapping

New US Topo maps for Alaska are being produced statewide, with digital 7.5 minute 1:25,000-scale maps providing a comprehensive update to the 15-minute 1:63,360-scale printed maps produced nearly fifty years ago. You can view a status map showing where the new maps are available, and link to a site to download the maps.

Washington State Groundwater Projects

This application includes information about ongoing or completed groundwater studies in Washington. Included are studies from coastal areas, the densely populated Puget Sound, central and eastern Washington, and cross-boundary areas shared with Canada, Oregon, and Idaho.

Regional Stream Quality Assessment (RSQA)

The goals of the Regional Stream Quality Assessment (RSQA) are to characterize multiple water-quality factors that are stressors to aquatic life (contaminants, nutrients, sediment, and streamflow alteration) and to develop a better understanding of the relation of these stressors to ecological conditions in streams throughout the region.

Philadelphia Area Groundwater Level Network

The Philadelphia Water Department (PWD) and USGS worked together on the groundwater level monitoring network for Philadelphia. 

U.S. Landslide Inventory

A web-based interactive map with a consistent set of landslide data. The searchable map includes contributions from many local, state, and federal agencies and provides links to the original digital inventory files for further information (wherever available).

Delaware River Dashboard

Created for the Office of the Delaware River Master and supporting the USGS Next Generation Water Observing System Delaware River pilot, the Delaware River Dashboard shows provisional real-time water data collected at USGS observation stations in context with weather-related data from other public sources.
