The Gap Analysis Project (GAP) is delineating species range and predicted habitat distribution maps for more than 2,000 species that occur within the continental U.S., Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The ARC activity’s mission is to provide high-performance computing (HPC) capabilities and expertise to USGS scientists for the acceleration and expansion of scientific discovery.
