On the basis of geologic and geochemical investigations and examination of mineralized prospects, the Rincon Wilderness Study Area in Arizona has little promise for the occurrence of mineral or energy resources. A few prospects and small exploratory mines in four widely separated areas exist, but no record of mineral production was found. Geochemical anomalies in these four areas are weak and no resource potential was identified.
