Amanda is a Physical Scientist with the New York Water Science Center.
Amanda is a Physical Scientist with the New York Water Science Center in the Troy location. She is interested in water and sediment quality and how they relate to human and ecosystem health. Amanda has been with the USGS since May 2019 and works on water quality projects, including NAWQA and 305B. In 2018, she earned her B.S. in Environmental Studies with a minor in Geology from SUNY Cortland. In 2020, she earned a M.S. in Environmental Science & Policy at Plymouth State University, and her thesis research was on DDT contamination in sediments, soils, and crayfish.
