Andy LaMotte is a Geographer stationed at the Maryland-Delaware-District of Columbia Water Science Center. Andy is currently the data management coordinator for the National Hydrologic Geospatial Fabric and co-lead for the Landscape Chracteristics Task. Other duties include data management coordinator for the MD-DE-DC WSC's non-NWIS data and GIS support for NAWQA's Hydrologic Systems Team.
Andy's focus is to assist projects with data management plans, metadata, data releases, and guidance to adhere to the Survey's Fundamental Science Practices. Andy serves as a consultant to staff and senior scientists shepherding them through the data lifecycle from planning through archiving and publishing. Andy is a geographic information systems practitioner with local, regional and national projects. Andy is also an active participant with working groups from the Community for Data Integration (CDI), such as the Data Management Working Group and the Metadata Reviewers Working Group.

Attributes for NHDPlus Catchments (Version 1.1) for the Conterminous United States: Normalized Atmospheric Deposition for 2002, Nitrate (NO3)
This data set represents the average normalized atmospheric (wet) deposition, in kilograms, of Nitrate (NO3) for the year 2002 compiled for every catchment of NHDPlus for the conterminous United States. Estimates of NO3 deposition are based on National Atmospheric Deposition Program (NADP) measurements (B. Larsen, U.S. Geological Survey, written commun., 2007). This dataset represents the area of each physiographic province (Fenneman and Johnson, 1946) in square meters, compiled for every catchment of NHDPlus for the conterminous United States. The source data are from Fenneman and Johnson's Physiographic Provinces of the United States, which is based on 8 major divisions, 25 provinces, and 86 sections representing distinctive areas having common topogrAuthorsMichael Wieczorek, Andrew E.
