An editor of the U.S. Geological Survey since 2001 and a legal (regulatory) editor before that, with strengths in strategically planning work with scientists to bring USGS science to the public and maintain the highest USGS standards.

I am a highly skilled technical editor with over 20 years of experience in editing legal and scientific publications. My main objective when taking on a project is to collaborate with the authors and present their work to their audience in the most impactful way possible. From organizing data and deciding on the format and medium to editing and overseeing the production process, my role is to be the voice of the public and assist scientists in getting their work to the public. I utilize my passion for technology and learning to aid authors in creating well-rounded content within budget and timeline constraints.
