Anthony "Tony" S Trease

Tony is a Hydrologic Technician/Hydroacoustics Specialist with the USGS Colorado Water Science Center (COWSC), in Lakewood, CO.

Tony's career started in 2008 as a USGS/NAGT Summer Intern in New Cumberland, PA. In fall of 2008, he transitioned to a hydrological technician position in Exton, PA, working with both surface water and water quality. The focus of Tony's field work in Exton was making Acoustic Doppler Current Profile (ADCP) measurements and continuous water quality monitoring. He performed flood measurements on Pennsylvania rivers during Tropical Storm Lee, Hurricane Irene, and Hurricane Sandy.  In 2014, Tony transferred to the COWSC Lakewood Field Office. He became the Lakewood Field Office Hydroacoustics Lead in 2016 and in 2023 became a COWSC Hydroacoustics Specialist.
