Aurelia C Mitchell

Biography

Aurelia Mitchell graduated with a B.S. in Geography from the University of New Mexico in December 2016. She has been with the U.S. Geological Survey since January 2016, originally serving as a student trainee and currently as a Physical Science Technician at the New Mexico Water Science Center. Her work consists primarily of providing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) support to the center as well as focusing on mapping applications and spatial data visualization. She has lead a GIS tech support group as time allows, which invites colleagues to share their GIS expertise and learn new applications of the software. Aurelia has done other work as well focused in groundwater, surface-water, and snow.
