Carol Becker

Biography

Bachelor of Science in Geology from Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, Oklahoma, 1983
Master of Science in Geology/Hydrogeology from Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, Oklahoma in 1994.

Carol began her career with the USGS in 1992 and has managed and participated in a multitude of projects related to Oklahoma's groundwater and surface-water resources. Carol's primary interests are in groundwater and surface-water quality related to aquifer mineralogy, wastewater effluent, agriculture, and changing land cover. Recent projects have focused on the occurrence and extent of arsenic, uranium, and other trace elements in the Central Oklahoma aquifer and the effects on private well owners.
