Cassie Thibodeaux is a Librarian at the USGS Wetland and Aquatic Research Center in Lafayette, Louisiana. Thibodeaux currently serves as the web content developer and content manager for the Ecosystems Mission Area. In addition, she is a metadata coordinator for the WARC, assisting scientists with the creation of standardized geospatial and biological metadata records. She provides technical oversight to library support staff tasked with cataloging datasets and bibliographic material and conducting interlibrary loan lending and borrowing processes. Thibodeaux supports research staff with her expertise in creating, digitizing, converting, and editing a variety of audiovisual formats. She is technically savvy and has an instinctive ability for troubleshooting equipment and educating library patrons on the use of electronic equipment and specialized software. Other skills include: maintaining library collections, analyzing user needs, locating hard-to-find material, and delivering instruction in the effective use of resources.
