I graduated from Virginia Polytechnic & State Instute (Virginia Tech) in Spring of 2017 with a Bachelor's degree in Geology and a minor in Biology. I then interned with the USGS Water Science Geophysics Branch office in Storrs, CT during the summer of 2017, working on a variety of projects including the Mississipi Alluvial Plan (MAP) Aquifer survey, using thermal imaging on the Mashpee and Quashnet rivers on Cape Cod to search for groundwater seeps, and using GEM2 frequency-domain radar systems to look for decomposed oil constituents in the groundwater near Bemidji, MN as part of the long-term oil spill/groundwater study taking place there.

I started on with the USGS New England Water Science Center in January 2018, and have been working as support and sampling staff for the water quality network. In addition, I have been working to service and evaluate data coming from the 2018 run of a project observing dissolved oxygen levels in rivers across CT.
