Emily Perkins

I specialize in environmental application of GIS and Remote Sensing. I have conducted work in hydrological and sediment balance changes due to human use in Tijuana and India. Currently, I focus on biological resources in San Diego County through the San Diego Management and Monitoring Program (SDMMP). My role is to facilitate GIS and database management, with the SDMMP team, for a number of local partners which aids in the coordination of management efforts. I work with partners on survey design, habitat suitability models, climate change modeling, and the collection and management of environmental datasets. I also contribute to the design and construction of the SDMMP website, portal.sdmmp.com.
