Greg Smoczyk

I am a GIS developer at the Geologic Hazards Science Center (GHSC) in Golden, CO. My work supports numerous geospatial components that are integrated within the earthquake and landslide projects of our team.  My background includes experience with desktop and server GIS software, Oracle and PostgreSQL spatial databases, and also web mapping libraries like Leaflet and the ArcGIS Javascript API. Most recently, my work has been focused on creating and expanding the presence of geospatial data within the USGS Earthquakes and Landslides websites with an emphasis in robust performance to meet realtime demand.
