Gregory Clark, Ph.D.

Biography

Greg has made his nearly 30-year career in the fields of clinical laboratory management and forensic toxicology. He earned a PhD from University of Washington in Analytical Chemistry and completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Clinical Chemistry and Toxicology in UW’s Department of Laboratory Medicine. This was preceded by an M.S. in Physical Chemistry, also from UW, and a B.S. in Chemistry from Washington State University, where he was a member of Delta Sigma Phi.

Greg’s most recent position was Chief Executive Officer for LABS, Inc. a 40,000 square-foot laboratory that provided medical laboratory testing for the solid organ and tissue transplant community. Previously, he was Vice President, National Esoteric Reference Laboratory, at Pathology Associates Medical Laboratory where he focused on enhancing the test menu offered to clinicians and hospitals. Greg has experience in laboratory design gained while working at Morph Design and Quest Diagnostics, has planned projects including reference interval standardization, laboratory development and strategic planning, and is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt.

Greg is married and has four children. In his spare time, he pursues interests in skiing, climbing, philosophy, and the environment, and is an active community volunteer and member of his church
