Joern Kaven
I earned my PhD from Stanford University in 2009 on the mechanics of faulting on complex surfaces under David Pollard. I joined the USGS as a post-doctoral scientist in 2009 and continued as a Mendenhall Research Fellow in 2012. In 2014 I became a permanent member of the Earthquake Science Center at the USGS in Menlo Park.
