Due to a lapse in appropriations, the majority of USGS websites may not be up to date and may not reflect current conditions. Websites displaying real-time data, such as Earthquake and Water and information needed for public health and safety will be updated with limited support. Additionally, USGS will not be able to respond to inquiries until appropriations are enacted. For more information, please see www.doi.gov/shutdown

I am a Hydrologic Techinition for the Arkansas Water Science Center. I have been employed with the USGS since 2006. I was elevated to a full time position after graduating from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in May of 2010 with a bachelors degree in Ecological and Organismal Biology.
I am responsible for record management, data collection, and overseeing of approximately twenty river gaging stations throughout the state.
I am also heavily involved in our hydroacoustics program as a means to continually provide reliable data for our river gaging sites.
