Jonathan and his wife, an Environmental Scientist, currently have two sons, Josef and Jacob with a third son to arrive shortly. Jonathan left the active component of the Navy in 2018 after 7 plus years of service as a Quartermaster (Navigation Specialist) to pusue his BS Degree in Civil Engineering.  Some notable experiences in his naval career were weathering through two hurricanes as the Assistant Harbor Master at Port Operations NB Mayport FL., two Central American deployments onboard USS Gary FFG-51, and two RIMPAC training exercises in Hawaii. Jonathan is still serving in the USN Reserves as a Chief Quartermaster with Military Sealift Command (MSC).
