Karen Jones
Karen Jones is a Wildlife Data Assistant in the Bird Banding Laboratory (BBL) at the Eastern Ecological Science Center located in Laurel, MD
She is the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) for the bird band contracts, ensuring adequate bird band inventory to meet bander needs. She assists bird banders to use Bandit software to provide bird banding data to the BBL. Processes incoming bird banding data in electronic format into the Oracle database and resolves non biological banding data discrepancies.
