I am a project section hydrologic technician with the U.S. Geological Survey, Water Resources Division.

I have been a hydrologic technician with the U.S. Geological Survey since 1992.  I started as a student while finishing a BA in Geology from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota.  I have been involved with groundwater water-quality sampling for the Red River of the North NAWQA study from 1992 to 1995 and on the Upper Mississippi River Watershed NAWQA study  from 1996 to present.  I have also done water-quality sampling of rivers and lakes for numerous studies in Minnesota and throughout the Great Lakes basin for Great Lakes Restoration Initiative (GLRI) studies.  I also have experience installing wells using a hollow stem auger hydraulic drill rig; designing and installing benthic flux chambers; and maintaining dataloggers for a continuous groundwater level monitoring network.
