Nancy brings over 20 years of federal experience (5 Treasury, 8 BLM, 8 USGS) from the Colorado Water Science Center for a 120-day detail with IIDD as a Financial Specialist. Nancy works remotely from Roseburg, Oregon. Her journey in government began in an IRS DATA Entry Technician while putting herself through college. She left the IRS as a corporate Tax Examiner and joined the Bureau of Land Management in 2007 in Wyoming. She served in administrative positions with the BLM in Wyoming, Oregon, and Colorado. She joined the USGS in 2015 through the Colorado Water Science Center (CWSC) in Grand Junction as an administrative assistant for the Western Slope Office. Nancy now serves as a Management Analyst with the CWSC. Her role includes membership in the CWSC Succession Planning team where she focuses on long and short-term staffing challenges for the center. She has a vast knowledge of resource management systems such as BASIS+, FBMS, ART, FPPS, and QuickTime.
