Stephanie J Buchmiller

I have worked at the WY-MT WSC since February 2015, in both volunteer and student positions. My primary duties are to assist in collecting field data for assessing stream stability and scour at bridge sites using single-beam bathymetry methods, hydroacoustics, and ground point surveys with total station.

Biography

I started volunteering at WY-MT WSC in February 2015, progressed to an 180-day term position, and have now earned a Pathways Internship in a Hydrologist position. I work in surface water hydrology and assist in collecting field data for assessing stream stability and scour at bridge sites using single-beam bathymetry methods, hydroacoustics, and ground point surveys with a total station.

I am an outdoor enthusiast who hails from Wisconsin; I have lived in Montana for over ten years, and have a passion for enjoying life.
