Terry M Short


Terry Short is an aquatic ecologist with the U.S. Geological Survey, Menlo Park, California. He served as Regional Biologist for the USGS National Water-Quality Assessment (NAWQA) Program during which time he helped design and coordinate ecological studies in major river basins throughout the western conterminous U.S., Alaska, and Hawaii. His present research with the USGS focuses on natural and human-caused disturbance effects on freshwater ecosystems, to include effects of landscape alteration and contaminant enrichment on aquatic biota and system processes.
