Biography

Tim started his USGS career in 1988 as a student hydrologic aid in the Billings MT field office.  Upon completion of college in 1990, Tim started his new job as a hydrologic technician in the Helena MT field office where he collected many discharge and water quality measurements. In 1996 Tim transferred to the Hydraulics and Hydrology Unit of the Montana District Office assisting in surface-water project work, flood frequency and bridge scour investigations.  In 2003 Tim went full circle and transferred back to the Billings MT field office as a hydrologic technician and later in 2005 as Billings MT field office chief.
