William "Chesley" Vervaeke


William Chesley Vervaeke has been an Ecologist with the USGS in Lafayette Louisiana since 2003. During this time Ches has become an expert in the Surface Elevation Table (SET) technique used to measure wetland elevation change, working with and modifying both original and rod SET’s. Ches also has interest and expertise in below ground processes in wetlands, specifically marsh mangrove ecotones.
