Landsat Acquisition Tool

The Landsat Acquisition Tool helps determine when the Landsat satellites acquire data over specific areas of interest, displaying the paths that were acquired on any given day.

Time of Travel Beta Application

The Time of Travel Beta Application was built in cooperation with the Inland Oil Spill Preparedness Program. The primary goal of the application is to provide rapid estimates for instream travel times for emergency spill response scenarios. The application also provided mean reach velocities and general travel time estimates that also can be used by other water resource managers.

Arctic Alaska Mapper

The Alaska Regional Office has developed an online viewer platform where the public can access interactive map layers to display select marine and terrestrial geospatial features in the Arctic Alaska boundary area as defined by the U.S. Arctic Research and Policy Act.

Wildland Fire Trends Tool

The Wildland Fire Trends Tool (WFTT) is a data visualization and analysis tool that calculates and displays wildfire trends and patterns for the western U.S. based on user-defined regions of interest, time periods, and ecosystem types. Users can use the tool to easily generate a variety of maps, graphs, and tabular data products that are informative for all levels of expertise. 

EarthExplorer

The EarthExplorer (EE) user interface is an online search, discovery, and ordering tool developed by the United States Geological Survey (USGS). EE supports the searching of satellite, aircraft, and other remote sensing inventories through interactive and textual-based query capabilities. 

DOTABLES

DOTABLES is an online program that generates tables of dissolved oxygen solubility values and (or) salinity correction factors over a range of user-specified values for water temperature, barometric pressure, and salinity or specific conductance.

Geographic Names Information System (GNIS)

The U.S. Geological Survey's National Geospatial Program developed the GNIS in support of the U.S. Board on Geographic Names as the official repository of domestic geographic names data, the official vehicle for geographic names use by all departments of the Federal Government, and the source for applying geographic names to Federal electronic and printed products.

This Landsat Science Team Publications Search tool allows searching the journal articles, book sections, reports, and conference presentations published by Landsat Science team members since 1996. This information is updated quarterly, or as needed. 

Arrastra Gulch, Silverton, CO 3D Data Viewer

Airborne electromagnetic and magnetotelluric geophysical surveys were conducted from 2018 to 2019 in Arrastra Gulch along the southern margins of the San Juan and Silverton calderas. This scene provides 3-D data integration combining electromagnetic data, geologic and historical mine mapping, and high-resolution drone imagery.
