Jason Bellino

Hydrologist at the Caribbean-Florida Water Science Center, focused on studying and managing water resources to support sustainable practices and scientific research.

I'm currently the project chief of the Floridan Aquifer System Groundwater Availability Study (https://fl.water.usgs.gov/floridan) and my interests are in groundwater flow modeling. I have extensive experience with ArcGIS and enjoy developing python code for data analysis.

Education:

Master's in Geology, Univ. of South Florida, 2009.

—thesis: Effects of geomorphic setting on shallow-groundwater exchange and water temperature of salmon-bearing headwater streams of the Lower Kenai Peninsula, Alaska

Bachelor's in Environmental Science and Policy, Univ. of South Florida, 2005, with a minor in Geology.
