This interactive web application allows you to explore, filter, and download subsets of the Energy Geochemistry Database (EGDB). The EGDB contains analytical data for samples collected by the Energy Resources Program (ERP) to develop an understanding of the physical and geochemical processes responsible for hydrocarbon formation.

The Central Valley has four hydrologic regions, from north to south: the Sacramento Valley, the Delta & Eastside Streams, the San Joaquin Basin, and the Tulare Basin. Water flows from Sacramento Valley, Tulare Basin, and the San Joaquin Basin, into the Delta & Eastside Streams through the Central Valley's only natural outlet, the Carquinez Strait, on its way to the Pacific Ocean.

The EarthNow! Landsat Image Viewer displays imagery in near real-time as Landsat satellites orbit the Earth. Along with the near real-time video stream, EarthNow! also replays acquisition recordings from previous Landsat overpasses. When Landsat satellites are out of viewing range of a ground station, the most recent overpass is displayed.

Do you need to know when streamflows are low or if streams go dry? The USGS has developed a Low Flow Data and Model Discovery Table that provides an overview of available data and models with information on streamflow, including low-flow and no-flow conditions.
