Laura L. Hallberg

At the USGS, Laura contributes to a variety of projects, including managing data within the National Water Information System (NWIS database), developing GIS maps, and compiling datasets for analysis. Her work also involves detailed descriptions of well cores and characterizing the land use and land cover surrounding well locations. Additionally, she provides field support. Prior to the USGS, Laura worked at the Wyoming State Geological Survey, where she mapped surficial features and geology, compiled borehole logs, created GIS maps, and documented earthquakes and coal mines. She is a registered Professional Geologist with the State of Wyoming (PG-2511).
