Mapping Challenge Update (08/06/2020): City / Town Halls in ME, NH, & VT
This challenge is close to being finished! See our spatial analyses for tips on remaining communities.
We performed our spatial overlay between city / town halls and US Census's Incorporated Places layer. As you can see from the results, there's only a handful of incorporated places in Vermont that do not yet have a city/town hall point inside their bounaries. NOTE that this does not mean every one of these communities is missing a point. It is possible that some of these communities do not have a building that fits our definition of a city / town hall while others may have already been collected but their city / town hall falls outside of their corporate boundary. So please help us research these communities and determine if a city / town hall exists!
We also performed a similar analysis between city/town halls and US Census's Minor Civil Divisions layer. The communities highlighted in this map represent towns that do not yet have a city/town hall point in their boundaries. NOTE that this does not mean every one of these communities is missing a point. It is possible that some of these communities do not have a building that fits our definition of a city / town hall while others may have already been collected but their city / town hall falls outside of their corporate boundary. So please help us research these communities and determine if a city / town hall exists!
