Coastal and Marine Hazards and Resources Program Lidar Coordinator/National Geospatial Program Associate National Map Liaison elected to serve on 2020-2023 URISA Board of Directors

Xan Fredericks, Lidar Coordinator for the Coastal and Marine Hazards and Resources Program and Associate National Map Liaison to Florida, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands for the National Geospatial Program, is one of three newly elected members of the 2020-2023 Urban and Regional Information Systems Association (URISA) Board of Directors.

Installation of new Board members will take place virtually at the conclusion of GIS-Pro 2020 Virtual Conference. She will begin serving her three-year term (10/1/2020-9/20/2023) in a personal capacity at the conclusion of the GIS-Pro 2020 Virtual Conference to be held in late September.

URISA is a multi-disciplinary geospatial organization that provides professional education and training, a vibrant and connected community, advocacy for geospatial challenges and issues, and essential resources. URISA fosters excellence in GIS and engages geospatial professionals throughout their careers.
