A Method for High Performance Liquid Chromatography Analysis of Volatile Fatty Acids in Water
June 25, 2025
A method was developed to measure the presence and concentration of the organic volatile fatty acids (VFA) formate, malate, lactate, acetate, and propionate in aqueous samples using high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and ultraviolet absorbance detection. This dataset includes a method detection limit (MDL) study, along with appropriate quality control samples, used to verify and document this method.
