Bathymetric Data for Selected Reaches of the Upper Allegheny River between Warren and West Hickory, PA

This dataset contains data collected by the USGS Pennsylvania Water Science Center during bathymetric surveying in selected reaches within the upper Allegheny River between Warren and West Hickory, PA in September 2025. Data includes latitude, longitude, and river bottom elevations for points within these reaches, as well as latitude, longitude, and water surface elevations for each reach collected at the time of bathymetric surveying. Bottom track bathymetry data was collected using a Sontek M9 Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) and water surface elevation data was collected using a Trimble 12i GNSS receiver. All elevations are in North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD88). Any use of trade, firm, or product names is for descriptive purposes only and does not imply endorsement by the U.S. Government.
