Adaptation to climate change, a complex problem that requires innovative and collaborative solutions, can be aided by connecting individuals and helping them take action. A number of new networks, projects, and collaborations in the Southwest, aimed at helping advance climate adaptation outcomes, have developed tools, toolkits, portals, platforms, guidebooks, and other resources aimed at informing adaptation planning and natural resource management. The project team developed a collection of more than 35 climate change-related online decision-support tools. These tools were also sorted into four main categories: 1) assessment and evaluation; 2) climate information systems, data, and mapping; 3) knowledge exchange and engagement; and 4) project planning and general guidance.
