Detection of 7 Faxonius crayfishes and associated physicochemical factors in Northeast Oklahoma
This dataset contains detection histories from temporally replicated crayfish surveys used to model the occupancy of seven native Faxonius species. F. nana and F. meeki brevis are considered threatened by the American Fisheries Society, whereas F. faxonious and F. virilis commonly invade outside their native range. Surveys were conducted at 88 sites across Northeast Oklahoma from 2020-2022. Each row includes the detection (1) or no detection (0) of a single species at a single site. Survey-associated data includes macrophyte coverage, woody debris coverage, water temperature, water clarity, bank angle, residual pool depth, discharge, width to depth ratio, percent composition of riffle, run, and pool habitats, drainage area, landscape disturbance index, soil composition, lithology, stream slope, elevation, and sinuosity.
