Habitat persistence and loss predictions to stand-replacing fires in old-growth forests of the Northwest Forest Plan boundary

July 2, 2026

The datasets were collected as part of a project to model fire refugia and severity from remotely sensed vegetation, topographic, fire weather, and fire growth variables. These data were used to evaluate changes in patterns of fire refugia and severity in relation to drivers. They represent a key deliverable of this research, designed to inform conservation and management across the Northwest Forest Plan area.
