USGS National Oil and Gas Assessment Resource Summary and Federal Land Allocations

All the data presented here were compiled from published U.S. Geological Survey National oil and gas assessment results, both hardcopy and digital, from 1995-present. Each record in the table has been published previously as part of a conventional or continuous assessment under the National and Global Assessment (NAGA) Project. This data release includes more than 700 records from 70 domestic provinces. As new assessment results are published, the summary table may be updated. The dataset consists of assessment results summary data in CSV format that includes areal percentages assigned to various federal land management agencies.
