Water resources data, Nevada, water year 1987

Water-resources data published herein for the 1987 water year comprise the following records: Water discharge for 86 gaging stations on streams, canals, and drains.; Discharge data for 144 peak-flow stations and miscellaneous sites, and 35 springs.; Stage and contents for 14 lakes and reservoirs.; Water levels for 304 observation wells. .; Water-quality data for 29 stream, canal, and drain sites, and 5 wells.; Precipitation totals for 12 stations.

Additional water data, collected at various sites that are not part of the systematic data-collection program, are published as miscellaneous measurements. These data represent that part of the National Water Data System operated by the U.S. Geological Survey and cooperating State and Federal agencies in Nevada.
