The purpose of this Memorandum of Understanding is to establish a framework for cooperation and coordination between the USGS and NOAA. This MOU is designed to make it easier for USGS and NOAA scientists and managers to work together, when appropriate, in addressing the Nation’s physical, biological, and ocean science needs.
