This technical memorandum concerns the reload of results with revised metadata (added value-qualifier codes) into the USGS National Water Information System (NWIS; https://waterdata.usgs.gov/nwis) for the lab codes noted in table 1, also known as the “Kone Method” following discovery of a data integrity issue that occurred within the Nutrients Unit (see USGS Office of Communications and Publishing [OCAP] announcement of the loss of scientific integrity finding at the NWQL).
