100 Years of Earthquakes in Eastern North America

Detailed Description

Map showing earthquakes larger than magnitude 5 that have occurred in the central and eastern United States, and earthquakes in southern Canada that were felt in the United States, over the past 100 years (as of 28 February 2025). The highlighted earthquake was a magnitude 6.2 event in Quebec on 28 February 1925.
