View of Tomales Bay from the parking area of Inverness Store (in the town of Inverness) along Sir Francis Drake Boulevard. A small sea cliff on the opposite side of the bay (to the left) is at the end of an uplifted marine terrace located near the trace of the San Andreas Fault in Tomales Bay. As a result of folding along the fault zone, the once probably flat marine terrace now dips gently to the east.
