Another summit lava lake overflow last night
Detailed Description
Last night at around 10:30 pm, a large overflow from the summit lava lake spread west (towards the right in this photo) over the floor of Halema‘uma‘u Crater. This photo was taken from the HVO observation tower. The bright spot is spattering along the south lake margin.
