April 24, 2026 — Kīlauea episode 45 lava channels

Episode 45 began just after 1 a.m. HST and ended about 8.5 hours later at 10:01 a.m. HST. Only the north vent erupted lava fountains, which reached a maximum height of about 870 feet (265 meters).
