In 2011, Senator Hoeven of North Dakota hosted the USGS Energy Resources Program and oil and gas industry officials in North Dakota to a workshop to determine whether or not to reassess the Bakken Formation. USGS scientist Chris Schenk speaks with Congressman Rick Berg of North Dakota.
