Barometric Pressure Sensor on Lake Pontchartrain for Hurricane Sally
Detailed Description
A barometric pressure sensor installed in advance of Hurricane Sally on a pavilion at the Laketown boat launch on Lake Pontchartrain in Kenner, Louisiana. A storm tide sensor was also installed on the pavilion. These are part of the sensors installed by USGS scientists at 12 sites in Louisiana, Alabama and Mississippi.
