View of the Hamburger Rocks in the Halls Creek valley in Southern Capitol Reef National Park. A red layer of silty sandstone in the upper Navajo Sandstone (probably stream floodplain deposits) stands out in contrast to white sandstone (dune sand deposits) that makes up make up most of the formation.
