View of the masonry at Pueblo Bonito. The styles of stone masonry changed over time, with specific styles being indicative of different time periods. The masonry shows a high degree of skill in both the cutting and laying of the masonry. There is evidence that the Chacoans covered most of the stonework with plaster (NPS, 1998; 1998c; 1996).
