Chicken Creek valley
Detailed Description
This view is looking south into the valley of Chicken Creek that runs through the heart of the National Monument. Fossil Butte is on the left. Active commercial fossil quarries dot the landscape along the ridges in the valley near the town of Fossil (outside of the national monument).
