Diagram of a Slug Test inside a well
Detailed Description
Diagram of a Slug Test inside a well. A pressure transducer is lowered below the surface of the water in a well, then a slug is lowered into the water where the change in water level creates a pressure difference. The slug is left in the well water until the water level returns to normal, the rate of change determines the hydraulic conductivity of the well/aquifer.
